How it began
A Janmashtami outfit that started it all
Founded in 2020 by a new mom living away from India, the brand was inspired by a simple challenge: finding stylish, comfortable, and affordable ethnic clothing for kids during festivals and special occasions.
While preparing for her child's Janmashtami celebration, the search for the perfect outfit turned into a struggle. Determined to dress her child in something traditional yet comfortable, she decided to create the outfit herself. That small step soon turned into a beautiful idea: a brand that would help families celebrate their culture through clothing for their little ones.
At Stay Desi, we believe that children should feel as good as they look. That's why our designs focus on breathable fabrics, soft materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship that allow kids to move freely, play happily, and celebrate comfortably all day long.
